Christmas for Destitute Children (NED) is a social project of the NGO FAITH carried out every year through various activities. Its objective is to sow joy in the hearts of the vulnerable mother and child for joyous end-of-year festivities.
It also aims to offer the indigent widow, the orphaned and/or disabled child; hot meals, food, recycled clothes, gifts and various toys in an atmosphere of singing and dancing and conviviality.
Social inequality in our world is a sad reality and day by day the gap between the rich and the needy is widening. Because they are entitled to the right of all or almost all (food, clothing, care, housing and education), the rich are getting richer and the poor are only getting poorer. How many are these people who live around us and lack housing and clothes? How many of us are there who die for lack of adequate care because of lack of financial insecurity? Aren’t they legion these children who will never know the way to school because of the lack of means of their parents?
It is therefore appalling that instead of assisting these many innocent souls, those who are free from need are instead of a mess like no other; preferring to throw away the surplus or amass endlessly forgetting that the more you share, the more you own.
The NGO FAITH has therefore decided to take its share of the responsibility in order to make a positive and lasting impact on the indigent widow and orphan; The person who is vulnerable because of a disability as well as the person of the 3rd age made fragile by the disease and for the weight of age. In addition to purely social actions, this project also offers free medical consultations each year followed by advice to grandpa and grandma.
